During the programme folk music bands and soloists from the Carpathian Basin's countries (Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, the Moldavian Hungarian nationalities) popularising and preserving the Hungarian folk music traditions and folk music values are meeting in Kisvárda. The so-called big presentation of their repertoires in front of the public is happening in the framework of a concert. The program contributes to the popularisation of the cultural diversity characterizing the world of the folk music which is part of the Hungarian cultural heritage.
