The Petőfi Sándor Poem Recitation is organised by the Szalárdi János Association every year as part of the Hungarian National Day's celebrations for the students to compete from the local and nearby schools. In 2018 will be the tenth anniversary of this event and it plays an important part in the local and nearby area's national celebrations.
