The SZÁSZ-Várday was organized for the first time on 25 June 2017 with the purpose of continuing this tradition in the future. The newly renovated Castle of Szászvár, former residence of the bishop, is a convenient place for maintaining and strenghtening the European, and the universal Christian identity. As a building it serves as a good example for the heritage protection of good quality. By bringing closer the common past in an understandable way, it contributes to the strenghtening of social cohesion.
