The Call for European Heritage Stories launched by the European Commission in the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage is a pilot initiative intending to identify the European Dimension of heritage sites and heritage work undertaken by the communities in Europe.
The Call for European Stories is open to:
- EHDs communities from 50 European States signatory to the European Cultural Convention that have organised at least one EHD event in the last three years:
- EU Prize for Cultural Heritage/Europa Nostra Award winners and;
- European Heritage Label sites.
The grant may be given to a minimum of 10 European Stories receiving a grant of a maximum of €10 000 each.
Deadlines:
Stories for the pre-selection phase shall be submitted until May 20. At this first step, only a simple outline of the stories and project ideas is needed. If the story is preselected, the applicant will be asked to send a detailed project proposal and budget by 31st of July. Selected Stories for the grant will be notified by the 21st of September.
